I have eaten all sorts of insects for food. Grasshoppers happens to be one of them. One thing about grasshoppers is they should never be consumed raw. They have parasites that can wreak havoc on your intestinal system. I also tend to pluck the wings and legs off. I then either skewer a few of these onto a twig and grill them, or put them in a frying pan and dry roast them well. Eating a dozen grasshoppers gives you enough protein to keep going for another day.
