A paracord is a paracord, so most people think, but I love TOUGH-GRID (AFFILIATE LINK) for many reasons.  I have really stressed these, and it breaks beyond the 550 lb test, though I would say 550lbs is guaranteed by the company.  I usually carry a minimum 100 feet of TOUGH-GRID (AFFILIATE LINK) paracord for every occasion.

The TOUGH-GRID 550 Paracord (AFFILIATE LINK) doesn’t frail as easily as some of the other paracord I purchased, and it has 7 strands of 100% nylon core (beware of polyester core from other paracords).  It has many uses, and it is a life saver.  It is made in the USA and meets or exceeds the MIL-SPEC Type III MIL-C-5040H specification. They also make the TOUGH-GRID 750 Paracord (AFFILIATE LINK) which is tested and guaranteed for a 750 lb test. It has 11 triple strand and 1 tracer strand cords inside the sheath. Both versions of the paracords come in many colors.

Buy American and pick up one of these TOUGH-GRID 550 Paracord (AFFILIATE LINK) and/or the TOUGH-GRID 750 Paracord (AFFILIATE LINK) today for your survival packs. These have helped me in many occasions and situations, and I am sure it will help you as an adventurer or survivalist.
